Both Khalil and Sandy have demonstrated that they are highly intelligent and willing to work with their loved ones. They have each earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen titles before turning a year old, the first in their training class cohort to do so. They also hold Fitness Dog titles.

Khalil and Sandy have also excelled in performance events. They have both earned titles in Coursing Ability and in Fast Coursing Ability. Khalil holds both CAA and FCAT titles. Sandy holds CA and BCAT titles, and is very close to earning her DCAT. These events demonstrate that they retain the instincts for which their ancestors were originally bred.
